Born and shaped in Kyoto, he brings over four decades of mastery in the art of Japanese fine dining. At just 26, he was appointed Head Chef of one of Kyoto’s most esteemed traditional restaurants — a testament to his culinary integrity and leadership.
Joining Hotel Okura Tokyo in 2010, he went on to serve as Executive Japanese Chef at Hotel Okura Macau and held distinguished advisory roles overseas, including at Yamazato in Amsterdam.
As of 2025, he brings his visionary craftsmanship to Grand Nikko Bangkok Sathorn, advancing innovative expressions of Japanese fine dining with elegance, precision, and contemporary artistry.
